Sakino Consulting helps both Japanese and American companies come together in joint product development ventures to bring new products to market.

Founder Matt Schlegel brings a deep understanding of the product development process, language, engineering and technology. A Mombusho research scholar at the University of Tokyo and an alumnus of both the University of California and Harvey Mudd College, Matt holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in Applied Physics, has published a research paper in Japanese, and is an inventor on three patents.

While consulting for ReplayTV, Sakino Consulting worked to deliver a Panasonic branded and distributed DVR, with models manufactured in both the US and Japan.
